| It has always been our philosophy that a wedding cake should
not only look good but taste good too! So many times beautiful
cakes are not eaten at weddings because they tend to be dry
and tasteless. Many bakers assemble wedding cakes with very
dry cake layers mainly for support in fear of the cake toppling
over or sliding during delivery. Nothing can be further than
the truth here at Chef Imondi's. We consider ourselves experts
in cake assembly. That is why we use our regular cake recipes
for wedding cakes that are always the hit of the party! We often
hear that our wedding cakes were the best thing eaten at the
reception!
We feature a wide variety of choices from the traditional
white with buttercream to the most exotic and elaborate requests.
Here are some popular cake choices:

TWO (2) TIERS TRADITIONAL
Traditional wedding finish style - can be made to serve as
few as 2 to 350 people.
FOUR (4) TIER GUM PASTE
Hand made gum paste flowers accent this popular design.

ITALIAN CREAM
Easily our best tasting wedding cake. It can be finished with
fresh flowers, piped flowers or gum paste.
GUM PASTE ROSE
This elegant cake features gum paste roses, ribbon, and piped
accents to cascade this elegant centerpiece on your special
day.
SEA SHELL
Weddings are common on the beach in our area. Here is the
perfect compliment complete with Belgian chocolate seashells!
GROOMS CAKE
This elegant chocolate mousse torte is the best cake we make!
It will disappear faster than any other cake we have seen!
Should you desire a groom's cake this elegant style can easily
be transformed to resemble a groom's hobby with use of cake
sculpture, figure piping, or even photo cake.

POPULAR WEDDING CAKE ANSWERS:
1. Cakes should be ordered approximately two (2) months in
advance although we often accommodate last minute requests.
2. An appointment must be made with the chef to order a wedding
cake. Please bring all pictures, color swatches, ribbons,
etc. to this appointment.
3. Average wedding cake costs are approximately $1.75 (one
dollar and seventy-five cents) per serving.
4. The most common decision a bride must make on the cake
is the kind of flowers-piped with icing, fresh flowers provided
by florist, or gum paste flowers.
5. We will take care of: advising you on the cake size, complete
assembly excluding fresh flowers which are put on by the florist,
delivery and set up.
6. Cake flavors and icings although important are trivial
compared to the date of your wedding and the finish work required
on your cake.
7. A deposit of 25% (twenty-five percent) is due at contract
signing once you book your cake order with us. The balance
is due one (1) week prior to the wedding. We accept all credit
cards.
8. Out of town customers can order cakes over the phone with
a credit card.
9. You are welcome to sample any cake we make prior to purchase.
10. We have several cakes on display at our St. Andrews store
and a photo album as well.
